What's your definition of purpose?
Purpose is using your gifts and talents while doing what you love. There’s no other feeling like it.
When did you know for sure what your purpose is and what you wanted to contribute to the world as a career?
I can’t tell you the precise moment, it was more of a gradual process for me. Little by little God started to ‘recruit’ me to work for Him, to share the Word with my books, preaching and teaching. The calling became clearer the more I stepped into the right direction: Using my gifts a minister.
To date what's your most significant accomplishment?
Hmmmm that’s a great question, I would say finding my voice and the boldness to write the books I have written so far (13 and counting).
What's one tip you would give to someone trying to figure out what their purpose is, and living it no matter what?
That’s a great question, don’t expect for your purpose to be this deep and complicated thing, it is actually staring you right in the face. It is that thing you have been passionate about, the one thing that comes easy to you and others praise you for. Your purpose may also be closely linked to your pain and or struggle.
What's your definition of beauty and how do you celebrate your individual beauty?
Another great question, beauty is a compilation of your heart, decisions and gifts. All those things manifest on the outside making you truly beautiful or truly ugly. I celebrate my own beauty by embracing how God created me: wild curls, long lanky legs, opinions for miles and a big mouth I get to use for God’s glory. It does not get better than that.
Besides the Bible what's your favorite self-development book?
Just one? :-) That’s a tough one, but if I had to choose just one last year I would have said: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho; it used to be my number one book but since l read Life’s Golden Ticket by Brendon Burchard, it has become my favorite book by far. It is a great story about facing life and pursuing it with passion no matter what. It is a great read with a HUGE life lesson. You should read it if you have not.
