Do you journal? Here are 3 reasons why you should.

  1. Journaling gives you a clear and unbiased picture of where you are, and from whence you have come. Many times we tend to critique ourselves harshly when we evaluate our lives in terms of how much we have accomplished often times compared to others in our family, circle of friends or community. Journaling helps to keep our critique in check because when you journal you're documenting daily and weekly what is going on in your life, doing this you are able to accurately track your accomplishments as well as areas that may need change. Go back every 3 months and review what you wrote.

2. Journaling is therapeutic. It is the best self-therapy one can activate to still an overactive mind.Start writing! Get your thoughts from your head unto paper.I recommend writing versus typing because the process is where the therapy lies.Writing is soothing.

3. You may be sitting on your next million dollar idea or book. Many autobiographies started as journal entries. You can compile a book form your journal entries and while you may not want everyone to know what your thoughts are or have been it’s a great place to write a book for a wider audience.

So get journaling, you may just be carrying with you the next million dollar idea. I have several journal books for the different areas of my life my business, finances, thoughts and inspirations, questions and overall life plans. You can keep all of yours in one place; the main take-away is to start journaling. Happy JournalingJ
