What is Your Definition of Purpose?
Purpose, to me, is what you were created by The Creator to do. It encompasses what should be our life's journey.
When did You Know what You wanted to contribute to this world?
I know I'm called to two specific things that will branch out into others: life coaching and screenwriting. Life coaching became clear to me when a dream I had with a very specific symbol kept sticking with me. A few weeks later, I was doing some online research on a separate topic and saw a test about determining whether or not you're called to life coaching. When I opened the link, that same symbol from my dream was prominently featured, along with the exact color scheme from my dreams. It was a very clear sign to me and an answered prayer. All my life, people have asked for my advice or guidance on matters. Life coaching was the ultimate answer in that area. Screenwriting stems from a lifelong passion for storytelling, creative writing, excelling in creative writing, and learning I could have a future in bringing all three together.
What is Your most significant accomplishment?
Honestly? I don't think I've achieved something largely significant yet. I have lofty goals I've set for myself, and I don't think I've come close to reaching them just yet.
How do You define beauty?
When it comes to people, I think the deepest, most haunting beauty comes from an inner radiance, and that begins with acceptance of self. Embracing who you authentically are makes a person stand out and also stand up for themselves. I celebrate my individual beauty by finding pockets of time to treat myself well via exercise, balancing healthier foods into my diet, and even trying hair or makeup trends that allow me to express how I'm feeling.
Your top tip for someone to find out their Purpose.
Discovering your purpose has to begin with intention. If you believe in God, seeking Him for guidance is essential. As I was once told, "Only The Creator knows what the created was created for." Second, I would ask that person, "What motivates you? What angers you or thrills you in the world today?" When we consider what we have the most intrinsic interest in and what we would do without payment on a daily basis if we could, that's typically the intersection of where purpose is discovered.
Beside the Bible, name your favorite self-development book?
It's a tie between Susan L.Taylor's In The Spirit and Brian Tracy's Create Your Own Future.
